Free LCD TV

A television that uses liquid crystal display to offer a nice attractive display is said to be an LCD TV. These screens weigh less and again use very less power to produce the display. Thinner screens and smaller size make these appliances more portable for the users. These TVs are found in much larger sizes than the original TVs and are the most widely produced televisions in the world. They produce a colour display by selectively filtering the white light. For videos running at 60 frames per second, each frame is lit for 17 ms before being redrawn. These LCD TVs don't affect our eyes that much as the CRT display has. Earlier, these devices used to have poor display quality and poor contrast ratio but now they come with brilliantly innovated technologies so as to offer a nice display. Continued improvements and increasing refresh rates from 60 Hz to 120 and 240 KHz addressed almost every existing problem of the old TV.
