The name of Sol is given owing to the 3.8 inches ultra AMOLED touchscreen display and yes, you guessed it right!!! It has an improved display property with better performance in bright sunlight through the two-fold advanced reflection rate in its display which happens to be much better than the standard AMOLED technology based displays. It would have been a great treat if the gadget was launched back in summer but for tech-geeks and those who enjoy winter sunshine, LG Optimus Sol definitely proves to be a blessing in disguise and an ultimate fancied product to get hands on.
LG Optimus Sol even comes with the uninteresting name featuring the model number which is LG E730 which happens to be a decent Android Gingerbread running smart phone on its own and also possesses advanced specifications. The feature packed facilities available with the gadget includes a 5 mega pixel camera with automatic focusing for better photography and video recording, 1 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM, 150 MB internal storage option along with a 2 GB external memory card inserted, Flash support 10.1 along with DLNA feature to connect the handset with the TV. Even power consumption is improved with better battery life saving up to 20 to 30 percent power. It even utilizes lesser white light resulting in a darker user friendly interface. It is also planned for launch in Europe in three colours, black, white and titan (silver).
